Naloxone is a medication that can save lives
by reversing the effects of an opioid overdose.

We hold regular FREE, drop-in Naloxone distribution events at the firehouse. Participants are trained how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to administer nasal naloxone. Everyone will receive a certification card!

Naloxone Kits:
Each kit comes in a bag and includes 2 doses of naloxone, a barrier device for rescue breathing and detailed instructions on proper usage.
Personalized Trainings:
In addition to the drop-in events, we are available to provide free in-person training to individuals, small groups or large organizations!

Some people may fear there will be criminal charges for themselves or for the person who overdosed if the police respond tp a 911 call for an overdose.
Fear should NEVER keep anyone from calling 911 immediately! It may be a matter of life or death.
New York's Good Samaritan allows people to call 911 without fear of arrest if they are having a drug or alcohol overdose that requires emergency medical care or if they witness someone overdosing
